Job Summary 

We are dedicated to developing talent with innovative training in languages, intercultural and communication skills.  

Learnlight is currently looking for English Teachers in Monterrey for hybrid (face-to-face and online) language sessions. The face-to-face classes will take place in the following locations: San Pedro de la Garza García, General Escobedo, Santa Catarina or Pesquería, Nuevo Leon.

We are looking for professionals in education or those who wish to embark on a career in this sector who are passionate about teaching.  

What is a Learnlight language trainer? 

A Learnlight trainer is more than just a teacher. They are also a motivator and personal mentor who guides students through their learning experience. They are a highly valued member of an ever-growing team of people who are proud of what they do and are excited about innovative methods for teaching. 

Responsibilities of a Learnlight language trainer include: 

  • Delivering dynamic, effective and engaging sessions to students 

  • Providing valuable, written feedback to students after each session 

  • Monitoring students’ progress and guiding students towards their learning goals 

  • Communicating in an efficient, effective and professional manner with internal team 

Requirements 

  • Strong command of English (must be advanced or fully proficient)   
  • Academic level, having completed at least high school, and/or having a college degree or currently in progress 
  • Creative, dynamic and friendly 
  • Professional attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Interest in gaining language teaching experience at an EdTech company  
  • Own transportation is a requirement (some of the travel expenses will be covered by us)

Technical Requirements 

  • Internet connection with 30 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed  

  • Laptop/desktop computer 

  • UTP cable and UPS (emergency battery) with 30 minutes of backup charging 

  • Headset with internal microphone  

  • Must have noise-free space for online teaching 

Conditions include 

  • 10% bimonthly bonus 

  • Paid vacation (starting off with 15 days in your first work year instead of the 6-day period by law) 

  • Annual vacation bonus, equal to 25% of your assigned paid vacation days
